We are so glad these two found us! We joined them at the college campus where they met during orientation. College sweethearts...also just regular ol' in general sweethearts. We enjoyed following them around while they reminisced. So many old memories on this campus.
One look at these photos and I think you'll be drawn to Cassidy's adorable smile and laughter. I've known Cassidy since she was in high school and her smile has always been a characteristic that stands out. This girl is tough as nails, she makes friends easily, she is a complete sports fanatic, she is loyal and generous.
Mackenzie and Austin are a lot of things. Gorgeous (that's obvious). Adorable together (of course). Funny and Quirky (a nice surprise)! I had only talked with Mackenzie on the phone prior to this engagement session which always leaves me a bit anxious to meet a couple in person.
It's that time again...time for a house update! It's been awhile since you've seen any photos of the house. The real "work" has been completed. That means Scott and and Emily have finished all of their projects and everything that is left are things Alex and I need to do. We've had a few painting projects, and we've gotten a bit more decorating done. Still not finished and some rooms are rocking hand me down furniture, but it's coming along nicely!
Here is what we loved about Brooke and Brandon.... Their wedding was of course beautiful, but at the center of their day was a celebration of marriage. It was clear in their conversations, their joy filled smiles, and the way the worshiped during their ceremony.
There are some very obvious benefits of traveling. Experiencing other cultures, seeing beautiful sights, expanding your comfort zone, and probably the most relatable...NOT WORKING. All are great reasons to travel, and we recently had the privilege of enjoying each of these with a trip to the Canadian Rockies in Alberta, Canada.
