It's almost absurd to think that I am a family photographer in the Louisville area and yet I've never been to Huber's Family Farm during fall. Huber's seems to be a Kentuckiana fall staple as much as the pumpkin spice latte and quilted vests are a staple for fall Instagram feeds. Well this past week, I finally got to experience the pumpkin patch, the wagon ride, the lake, and the enormous pumpkins! This was a quintessential fall session.
This was one of those last minute week day sessions you plan because October came too soon and all of the sudden the leaves are changing colors and....oh yeah, we need family photos! It worked out perfectly that Doug and Natalie could do their session on a weekday because my weekends are completely booked and I think this pumpkin patch would have been crazy crowded on a Saturday afternoon. I was excited to hang out with this family again because they had added a new member since the last time we took photos over a year ago. Alex and Maxwell could not have been more fun. Alex was interested in being chased by anyone, being caught and tickled, telling stories, and trying to pick up the biggest pumpkin he could find. Maxwell was mostly interested in his mommy, but he was content to observe while wearing a smile. Check out some of their pretty fall session. I'll give a warning.... big eyes and dimples ahead!
If you loved this session, it might be because you love fun. It just so happens that we do too! Boring family photos are soooo 2005. Go ahead and contact us to schedule your session with Chandler Rose Photography, and get ready to have a good time!
