Yay for city engagement sessions! I love cold weather for only one reason...people are really okay with city sessions when it's winter. Truly this is the only good thing about winter. Well, maybe my mom's pumpkin pie, but those are the only two good things about winter. Trust me.
Brooke and Brandon are a treat! I met with Brooke at a coffee shop on Bardstown Rd that was far too cool for me. After searching for a parking spot that didn't require me to parallel park, I ordered some tea latte with almond milk and it was a strange green color. Brooke was refreshingly friendly and positive. We connected over conversations about roller coasters, church, and being transplants to the Louisville area.
Brooke and Brandon met at Cedar Point which is a giant amusement park with some very famous roller coasters. I know this because of an epic youth choir trip when I was in high school where we rode the Millennium Force about 20 times in a row. Anyway, back to B and B (we're close....we do nicknames now). These two are adventurous, inquisitive, smart, and EXTREMELY positive. I know I've said it before, but I would literally bet money that you couldn't wipe the giant smiles off of their faces. We had a smile filled session in downtown Louisville where B and B (okay fine, I made up the nicknames just now) danced, explored, and laughed their way through some pretty beautiful images.
To all the other roller coaster loving couples out there... let's get together and take some photos! Seriously though, if you are newly engaged and planning your unique wedding, we would love to hear from you!
