As a Louisville Wedding Photographer, I am usually checking the forecast every day until the wedding day. If I see a chance of rain I keep hoping that something will change, and the skies will clear up. I know they say it's good luck to have rain on your wedding day, but as a bride I don't know if I would have considered it luck. This particular Saturday the forecast was rain....ALL DAY. Alex and I kept thinking, surely it won't rain the entire day...and as luck would have it, Kailey and Tyler got both rain and clear skies on their wedding day. Maybe it's the best of both worlds? Either way, we were so happy to see the clouds party at just the right moments!
The two got married at a small camp grounds in Southern Indiana. I had been to this camp grounds for a girls retreat when I was a youth pastor. One of the best parts about the camp is the setting. Especially in fall, the leaves and trees are the best backdrop a photographer could ask for! I've asked Kailey and Tyler to take a look back at their wedding day. Here is what they have to say...
We want to say thank you to the new Mr. and Mrs. Pavey for the pleasure of sharing in your wedding day. It is clear you have a large number of family and friends that are in your corner to encourage and support you as you begin an important journey together. We believe your wedding day is not THE best day of your life, but it's a beautiful start to even more "best days." Cheers to you and to future adventures!
