I've learned that one of the greatest pleasures of being a wedding photographer is an appreciative bride and groom. Have you ever been thanked so many times you almost didn't know what to say? That is the story of our weekend with Liz and Jared and their families.
We had quite the wedding weekend. Things didn't exactly go as planned. We found out last minute that there was a HUGE event at the state park that weekend. We had planned certain locations for photos, but it just wasn't going to work with the huge crowds, lines, and limited parking. Plus, those darn rain clouds just wouldn't go away! And then, there was a cake mishap which required last minute errands to local bakeries for vegan cupcakes. See what I mean? This is not exactly how they had planned it. Naturally, this may make the average bride and groom worry or stress. Not these two! They were gracious, and laid back, and handled it all with smiles on their faces.
Liz and Jared weren't the only appreciative ones that weekend. Alex and I were so grateful for the beautiful couple and their families. The hospitality was amazing! They welcomed us in, and made sure we were comfortable and had everything that we needed. We had a lovely weekend at Spring Mill Inn and walked away with the best homemade blueberry sauce you've ever tried! Alex has been putting it on literally EVERYTHING he eats. Now it's our turn to thank Liz and Jared and their families for an amazing wedding weekend!
